The most common access error you will get.

This error is a result of two possible issues:

1. Expired record:

If you had access previously, but cannot access the databases anymore, please contact ichelp@gibs.co.za. We need to make sure your record on the library management system has not expired.

2. Registration incomplete

a) Have you completed your registration on the student system via the UP Portal?

Please make sure you have followed all the steps as set out in the Online Registration manual.

b) Have you submitted all the necessary documentation (signed contact, passport copies, study visa) to complete your registration process?

If you have completed both a) and b), but still get the same error, please contact asasupport@gibs.co.za to verify your registration status.

The library management system is integrated with the student management system, proxy servers and single sign on server.  Should you record on either of these services not be complete, your access will be restricted.
