Q. How do I suppress an author using the Mendeley Word add-in?

To create a narrative citation:

Search for the author via insert citation

Click on the author's name in the search box

More options will become available 

Tick, suppress author

Click OK. 

The narrative citation will only have the date in parenthesis, e.g. According to Noble (2011).
